How To Be Happy In Your Marriage

Monday, December 31st, 2007

By Angie Lewis A healthy marriage relies on the foundations of truth, honesty, honor, respect, and above all commitment. Couples dont have a problem staying married, that’s the easy part! The difficult element of marriage is actually being happy and satisfied? Wouldnt you say? By answering these questions, you will find out how to be happy in your marriage. 1.) What is the purpose for your marriage? 2.) What do you believe is truth for your marriage? 3.) And where do those beliefs come from? Many of us choose marriage because we dont want to be alone in life. We want a lasting friendship/relationship with another to walk lifes journey with. That means husband and wife shouldnt go wondering off on separate roads, but stay together on the same roads learning and growing together. Many times that takes compromising with each other; giving up something YOU enjoy for the sake of YOUR spouse. This is how you bring happiness and contentment into the marriage. So what is the purpose for your marriage? Choosing happiness and satisfaction is a purpose in your life, is it not? It is something we all want. Who doesn’t want to be happy? How will you attain this happiness? What will you do to bring happiness into your marriage for your self and spouse? You can’t really expect your spouse to make you happy? Isn’t this asking too much of them? If you require inner peace from another human being it isnt going to happen. So the answer is simple, really, you just got to turn the tables around. Your purpose for marriage is for YOU to bring the happiness, and satisfaction into play for both you and your spouse to enjoy, instead of relying upon or expecting your spouse to do it. That means giving out a little bit more of your self than you already have, and doing that even when you dont feel like it. So what if you do most of the giving, you shouldnt be keeping score or you will never be happy. Keeping score keeps us under the bondage of our negative feelings. We dont want that. You have a big job ahead of you, but it is an important task, that should never be overlooked. It is such an important responsibility that not everyone can do it. In fact, most people choose to live under the control of their feelings and they remain unhappy and unsatisfied. That is why there is so much divorce circulating around in this country. Remember this is your purpose for marriage, and it is not to be taken lightly. What do you believe is truth for your marriage? The selfish way of believing is living in the “I want mode” of thinking. This selfish pattern girdles on what you believe.Culture of society plays itself out with this kind of thinking. People are like chameleons, individuality is lost, and becomes one in its beliefs. A corrupt culture is formed through spiritual bankruptcy. It flourishes on selfish thinking and rebelliousness to the truth. ~~ Scriptures says in Luke, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God’s sight.” Luke 16:15 ~~ Selfish thinking believes that striving for more money and stuff will make you happy? Should you continue to strive for more riches and status to make your marriage happy and satisfied? When will it be enough money? How will you know when to stop striving for more money? When you win the lottery? This is how most marriages work. But most marriages are unhappy and failing. So what’s the problem? The power of happiness and satisfaction lies within what you can do for your self. ~~ “Keep Your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, becasue God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13:5 ~~ The dissatisfaction you feel is the realization that something is missing in your life; youre just not sure whats missing. Some couples believe the discontent of marriage to mean, they are no longer in love with their spouse, and so their beliefs make them stop loving the way they are supposed to love. But whats really missing from your life are beliefs built upon the foundations of godly wisdom, love and truth. It is not that you have stopped loving your spouse; it is that you have literally stopped loving your spouse! Your beliefs have created a way of life that feeds off self to survive. I know these things because I couldn’t love my husband properly. I write about this in my new book, Journey on the Roads Less traveled. I took the most traveled road. I define that road as the road full of negative feelings. The greatest goal and purpose you can attain for your marriage should to be more loving! To be more giving! To love not on demand or with strings attached, but to just love. But we cannot do that if we are living in self-based love. We accomplish this goal by handing over the selfish person we are now to God and letting Him take over for us in the selfish department. Once this is done, we can learn to love others with freedom by giving of ourselves with no strings or demands attached. Believe it or not, this is what fulfills your being and brings happiness and satisfaction into your life and marriage. When you are filled up with the love of God, He will rid you of all the negative feelings that once were absorbed in your mind that were radiating onto others. We need to believe in Christs love and allow His spirit into our lives by humbling (submitting), and accepting Him. ~~ “…That is why scripture says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6″ ~~ You see, without a real purpose for our lives, a part of us is missing. We are needy, selfish, and clingy and this makes us unable to give of our self. When we love with selfishness, we place bargains and demands on the table with that love. This is not genuine love, but love that is confused and selfish. Bottom line is if we direct our marriage under our own understanding of what we think and what our feelings say, the marriage becomes a self made marriage, ruled not from the love and wisdom of Jesus Christ, but from selfishness and worldly nature of man’s desires. A healthy marriage cannot survive under those conditions and environment without much unhappiness, and that is why there is so much divorce! We all want love and happiness, but it is the source of where we attain that happiness. That is the question. If our purpose is to have bigger and better things, then we know where to look. Those things are right outside our front door. But if our purpose is to be happy, and to love others and to feel at peace, then it can only be found in one place. Your heart will find it for sure if you are genuinely seeking for the Truth and for the answers. The source is as close as your mind will contemplate it, and as near to you as your heart will allow it in. The word of God is a seed planted in your heart, the knowledge and wisdom is pondered, it grows until you become it, and are one with it. Understand it, use it, nurture it, and you shall be happy! ~~~~~~~ Angie Lewis, author of new release, Journey on the Roads Less Traveled http://www.spiritual.journeybooks.4t.com/ ISBN 1413788904 Available Amazon and any online bookstore. Common Side Effects Of Antihistamines

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=S._Wagner] S. Wagner As we’re in the middle of the spring season and hay fever is running rampant, many allergy sufferers are running to their allergists and filling prescriptions for the most powerful antihistamines they can find. Well, it might surprise you to know that not only do these antihistamines have side effects but they also come with another fact of life that very few people are aware of; something that the drug companies don’t want us to know. Well, this article is going to give you the straight facts on antihistamine side effects and that small little detail that your allergist failed to tell you about your favorite hay fever remedy. For those who aren’t quite sure how antihistamines work, it’s actually a very simple process. Basically, when your body is affected by an outside substance, like pollen, it reacts to this substance by producing histamines. These histamines are the body’s defense against these outside invaders. Unfortunately, in creating this defense, it also creates the symptoms that go with them, such as the watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, and in extreme cases, shortness of breath and even asthma. What antihistamines do is reduce the effects of our body’s defense mechanism. Unfortunately, these antihistamines come with a price tag that goes way beyond the cost of the pills themselves. Common side effects of antihistamines are drowsiness, which is why you should never drive or operate heavy machinery when taking them, dizziness, restlessness, nervousness and upset stomach. Other side effects, which aren’t as common are dry mouth, dry nose, irritability, difficulty urinating and blurred vision. In most cases, the side effects from antihistamines are barely noticeable. However, the real problem with taking these drugs is not so much from what they do to you, but from what they don’t do. Over time, as you continue to take a particular antihistamine, you may notice that the drug doesn’t seem to be working as well as it used to. The reason is simple. Your body’s immune system begins to build up tolerance to these drugs. Usually, within a period of about three months, the drug stops working completely. At the very least, its effectiveness is greatly reduced. That is why a knowledgeable allergist, who doesn’t have his pockets filled by the drug companies, will tell you to rotate your antihistamines every three months. So for example, he might have you take Claritin, which contains loratadine, for three months and then have you switch to Benadryl, which contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride, for the next three months. Otherwise, you will find your allergy symptoms getting worse and worse. This never ending battle against allergies, which is really a no win war with drugs, keeps the drug companies in business and makes them richer and richer. There are cures for allergies and they don’t involve taking drugs. You can check out the details in my signature. You don’t have to put up with antihistamine side effects and ultimately lose the war against allergies. Why Are Home Tanning Beds So Popular?

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

By Oliver Turner Home tanning beds are the latest buzz. Everyone is talking about them and it seems that almost everyone get their own home tanning bed. The question is why? Are all those people making the right decision? Well, lets go over the trends that led to the popularity of home tanning beds: 1. Home tanning beds advanced technology- The technology of home tanning beds has developed dramatically over the last decade. Tanning lamps use ultraviolet light to cause tanning. Yet, tanning bed technology allow quick tanning and a safe one when following the safety instructions. Tanning beds are also much smaller than they used to be. The space needed to store a home tanning bed is much smaller now. By the way, you could buy a face tanning machine which will keep your face tanned all year long. 2. Discount tanning beds availability- Home tanning beds are not as expensive as most think. You can easily find cheap tanning beds that cost as cheap as $750. However, the cost is rising because of the need for tanning bed products such as tanning bed bulbs, tanning bed lotion and tanning bed supplies. Lately, more and more people who have used to go to tanning salons and use commercial tanning beds over there, decide o get their own home tanning bed. 3. Awareness of sun tanning dangers- The awareness of the deadly skin cancer has become very common. The fact is that sun tanning is harmful. Home tanning beds could be dangerous as well, but if used correctly for limited times not too frequently, they can bring the same effect of sun tanning but much safer and quicker. 4. Perfect body worship- Well, we live in a material world. We worship and want to resemble top models with dark tanned skin. Indoor or sunless tanning is not different from the anti aging and excessive fitness and diets trends. Using the Subconscious for Pain Relief - What’s In It For You?

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

By Ben Plumb If you’re in chronic pain, you probably want 7 things. If you can learn to use visualization statements to program your subconscious, you may be able to attain most or even all of them. The 7 things you probably want are to directly relieve your pain by any safe means possible, to indirectly relieve it using the mind-body connection, to avoid dependence on pain medications, to avoid dependence on doctors, to avoid helplessness, to be able to function despite your pain, and to avoid more ongoing costs related to your pain. Visualization statements provide a useful tool for attaining many of these goals. These statements represent the specific language that your subconscious wants you to read back to it to help ease your pain. Theyre simple and are targeted directly at the main factors that could bring you relief. You can obtain these statements by learning how to communicate directly with your own subconscious mind. The process is straightforward and can be done at home by working with a facilitator over the telephone. You you need no special skills and no previous experience in working with the subconscious. Goal 1: Directly Relieve Pain You’re probably most interested in anyting that may directly and safely relieve your pain. Through visualizations you can attempt direct relief yourself, using the subconscious to try to influence brain chemistry in ways that may reduce the pain signal. You can also use visualizations to try to minimize body system triggers of pain such as the musculoskeletal, immune, and endocrine systems. And you can further use visualizations to try limit lifestyle triggers of pain such as emotions, food, and lack of sleep. Goal 2: Indirectly Relieve Pain You might want to be able to use aspects of the mind-body connection to lessen the pain. Visualizations may allow you to use the subconscious to try to access positive feelings, provide distractions, obtain relaxation, and generate acceptance, all of which have been shown to help ease pain. Goal 3: Avoid Dependence on Pain Meds You probably want to reduce your dependence on pain medications that make you groggy, make you sick, or don’t work. To this end you can use visualizations to influence the subconscious try to limit the four main chemical amplifiers of pain–glutamate, substance P, norepinephrine, and acetylcholine. You can also use visualizations to attempt to strengthen the four main inhibitors of pain–endorphins,GABA, serotonin, and dopamine. Goal 4: Avoid Dependence on Doctors If any of your doctors are providing callous treatment, invasive procedures, or under-medication, you probably want to reduce your dependence on them. Through visualization statements you can try to use the subconscious to address your pain yourself. Specific visualizations can be aimed at back pain and pain in the neck area and other extremities, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and neuropathic pain (nerve pain), and may possibly produce relief. Goal 5: Avoid Helplessness If you’re feeling helpless you probably want the ability to take back psychological control of your life despite your pain. You can use the subconscious to try to talk down the pain, naturally alter brain chemistry, increase self-esteem, and build expertise about your pain, all of which helps to build self-confidence. Goal 6: Be Able to Function You probably want to be able to function despite your pain. A major factor in allowing you to do this is to consistently get good sleep. You can use visualization statements to try to program the subconscious to improve your sleep by allowing you to find a comfortable sleeping position, stay asleep despite the pain, get back to sleep quickly, and handle the poor sleep of fibromyalgia. Goal 7: Avoid Ongoing Costs You no doubt want to avoid taking on yet another series of ongoing costs related to your pain. Unlike drugs or surgery, use of the subconscious is a learned skill obtained via a one-time investment, rather than as a consumed service that must be repeatedly paid for. Engaging the Subconscious The subconscious is quite powerful. When programmed through the very visualizations that it suggests, it may be able to turn episodes of uncontrolled pain into events over which you have a degree of control. Getting a Hot Girl All Comes Down to Math

Friday, December 28th, 2007

By Thomas Czasz We’ve all seen it, certain men are more successful with women compared to others. These guys aren’t necessarily better looking, nor more interesting. But there is something they all have, wisdom. This wisdom is simple. They don’t have a fear of rejection. Overcoming this fear can be hard, but they’ve all done it. Why are men so scared of rejection, it really isn’t all that bad. The girl says no, you and her move your separate ways. The man feels there will be huge embarrassment, and that everyone will be on his tail about his rejection. His self esteem level will now be flattened, and his fear of asking out other girls will rise. Once a guy overcomes his fear of rejection, he’s almost there. Now he’ll ask out many girls. This is where the math comes in, if you ask out a 100 desired girls, chances are that a you’ll for sure get one of those. And in the end, this wise man will have a more successful love life, and be happier because of it. Even if it might of caused mild embarrassment, get over it! Be just like all the players out there, and do exactly what they do, ask ask and again ask! Is Talking to a Virtual Woman Cheating?

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

By Jane Trebay Patricia Walker knew her husband, Rob, was cheating. All the signs were there. Suddenly he had new interests, was talking about subjects she had never even known he cared about, and was spending a lot of time chatting on the computer. But the last straw was when he suggested they go to a fondue restaurant that he had heard had a great dessert. “This is a guy who before would eat a burger every night of his life if he could. No man suggests a fondue restaurant to his friend” Patricia pointed out. “That had to come from another woman, and a pretty persuasive one at that.” Convinced that her husband had met someone on-line, she installed a hidden key logger on their home computer. It secretly recorded every keystroke her husband made and then saved a report to the hard drive for her to read later. Sure enough, it seemed to show that he had been having long chats with another woman on a wide range of subjects. Armed with the evidence, she confronted him. That’s when the twist happened. He hadn’t been talking to another woman, at least the flesh and blood kind. He had been testing a new piece of software that builds virtual women and allows you to talk with them through your computer. While software that simulates on-line chatting has been around for years, it has been just recently that the technology has broken through to the point where it could now develop virtual humans with distinct personalities, histories, and memory. CyberPunk Software has been testing a new version of this technology in their software called Virtual Woman Millennium for an upcoming release, and Rob had been trying it out. The log of their conversations had been so real sounding that Patricia had been convinced it was another woman. They had discussed their interests and dislikes, talked about their friends, and even chatted about that fondue restaurant. Experts disagree on whether this upcoming technology is a good thing, and what the ethical consequences are. Howard Rasben of Pennsylvania Ethics in Media feels the implications are troublesome. “If this kind of software involves the forming of a significant relationship with another person outside of your committed one, it is cheating, plain and simple,” he said when interviewed. However, Dr. Sharon Cove of the Pran Center for Technology disagrees. “There’s no long term negative consequences to this,” she said. “The virtual relationship can’t be fulfilled physically, and he obviously isn’t going to leave his wife to run off with a virtual woman. I’d be more concerned if he was actively hiding it from his wife.” The software developers at CyberPunk Software, who have been testing the new version of Virtual Woman with a handful of selected testers, aren’t surprised by the controversy the software has started, even in its pre-release form. “We knew we had something when people started e-mailing in asking for phone numbers of virtual women they had just talked to,” said Nancy, who heads up software testing for the company. “When we had to halt the testing briefly a month ago to update the code we got a lot of complaints. People felt as if they had been cut off from one of their best friends.” In fact Dr. Cove, after trying out the software for herself, points out that talking to a virtual human that responds and challenges you realistically could bring increased sensitivity to a partner’s needs and actually increase the intimacy in the relationship. “As long as her husband isn’t playing it obsessively and brings what he learned from it back home to his wife, it’s a positive thing.” Patricia Walker might tend to agree. “The Fondue restaurant was actually a really good idea, and the chocolate dessert was awesome. I told him if his virtual woman made any other suggestions like that he should pay attention.” She soon might be able to ask for herself. CyberPunk Software is also testing a virtual man add on for their program. Bridal Jewelry: Fulfilling a Wedding Tradition

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

By Sam Serio Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. This is a saying that many brides take to heart when considering their wedding trousseau. From wedding gowns, accessories and motifs, brides from all walks of life throughout the years have tried their best to stick to this formula. Its interesting to note that bridal jewelry can follow this adage, too. Something old could most often be a piece of bridal jewelry that is a family heirloom. Sometimes the groom would give to his bride a ring or another piece of jewelry that had once been owned by his mother, grandmother, or past brides in his family. Maybe the bride would wear her own mothers antique jewelry or some other gem that has been handed down to brides in the family from generation to generation. One thing is certain, wearing such bridal jewelry would reinforce a sense of family, tradition and continuity in a wedding ceremony. Something new hardly needs any explanation. Thousands upon thousands of bridal jewelry stores, both the Internet e-commerce sites and bricks-and-mortar stores, offer a dazzling array of accessories to make the bride shine on her wedding day. The would-be bride can choose from among various jewelry pieces one or several items that she would wear at the ceremony and which she could treasure and keep as a memento of that most special day. At first thought, something borrowed doesnt seem applicable to bridal jewelry. After all, a bride would most probably want to wear her own jewels and not have to borrow and then return them. But for women who want to add to the accessories that they will be wearing on their wedding day without having to spend thousands of dollars more to buy new ones, renting jewelry offers a practical solution. Many establishments rent out antique or estate bridal jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, and only the rental fee plus a refundable deposit need to be paid. Finally, for that something blue in a bridal jewelry ensemble, there are several gemstones that fit the bill. Depending on the shade of blue that she wants, a bride can opt for a necklace, bracelet, or earrings that are accented with sapphires, aquamarines or blue pearls. Hair ornaments or tiaras with other blue-tinted stones such as agate and topaz are also beautiful accessories for the bride. The bride is the belle of the ball on her wedding day and it is important for her to look her best on that special occasion. Bridal jewelry, chosen tastefully and worn properly, will complement her wedding dress and make her look as radiant and as beautiful as any bride should be. Weight Loss Diet - Variety is Not the Spice of Life!

Monday, December 24th, 2007

By Michael Smith, MD Is variety the spice of a dieter’s life? Maybe not. A new dieting concept soon to be released calls for less variety in your daily diet. By eating less variety in one meal, your brain receives the “I’m full” signal from your stomach faster. The result: you eat less at each meal. The diet has not been released as of today. Out of respect for the authors, I simply want to voice two concerns about it, both of which, I am confident, the authors will address. For this article, the diet in question will be referred to as the “Less Variety Diet.” From a professional perspective, this sounds good. Research from the past and a few current studies do show that subjects eating meals with less variety, become full faster and eat less. Eating less does translate into weight loss, over time. And here’s the first snag: Over Time. If the authors mean “over time” to describe two to three weeks, than yes, you’ll lose weight. However, your brain is smart. The question left unanswered is, “Does your brain soon compensate for the less colorful meals and switch back to the slower “I’m full” signal? In my experience, quick changes in body physiology, as proposed by the less variety diet, results in quick counter-changes by the body parts involved. It makes sense to me that the Less Variety Diet will last, and you’ll revert back to eating more of the less palatible meals. This idea of a quick change for a quick counter-change, brings up a second possible snag. Your body doesn’t like it when you eat fewer calories. Regardless of the means to eating fewer calories, your body’s response will be to slow down your metabolism. Unless there’s more to the Less Variety Diet, like exercise and resistance training, weight lost is weight “regained.” Overall, the Less Variety Diet is scientifically sound, at least in the short run. Questions remain as you follow this new concept into week three, week four, and so on. I’ll hold my final verdict for now, but I will look for the authors to “unsnag” the snags in more detail, soon. The Great Implant Debate

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Ricardo Silva Breast implants are a popular area of plastic surgery. This leads us to the debate on the type of implants that are best and the governments role in the decision The debate on silicone and saline implants is a hot one. For a long period of time, silicone was dominant, but health concerns led to saline coming to the front. Silicone first became a popular enlargement resource after World War II. Doctors would shoot silicone directly into womens breasts to create enlargement. This direct approach resulted in numerous complications including cysts, sores and systematic illness. These complications led to the reduction of interest in silicone, but it would make a comeback. In the early 1960s, two Houston plastic surgeons developed the first contained silicone implants with Dow Corning. To say the two plastic surgeons, Thomas Cronin and Frank Gerow, revolutionized plastic surgery would be a minor understatement. The procedure because very popular and there was practically more demand than there were plastic surgeons to satisfy it. The implant was made of a harder silicone sack covering soft silicone gel. The implant was very popular because it held form better than saline implants. The implants, however, were not regulated at the time. As time passed, the Federal Drug Administration was given oversight and concerns started to arise regarding problems associated with leaks or complete failures of the implants. This was particularly true for second generation implants which were designed to be as soft as possible per surgeon requests, a situation that led them to be very thin and result in failures. One version had a polyurethane coating that actually degraded into a carcinogen, a product quickly pulled from the market. The debate on silicone implants is heated, but surprisingly bereft of facts. What is clear is silicone implants leak silicone into the body. Silicone in the body is assumed to be a bad thing, but the exact correlation to specific diseases and problems are not clear. The primary reason is there has not been sufficient time to study the issue long-term and get verifiable results. Many women, however, have shown distinct negative health problems when suffering from leaking silicone implants, complaining of chronic fatigue, neurological and rheumatologic problems. While studies have found conflicting results, it is clear women who have had ruptured silicone implants removed tend to show improved health. The debate continues to this day, but the FDA restricted the use of silicone implants to medically necessary procedures as of 1992. With the restrictions on silicone implants, saline implants have come on the scene. Originally developed in the 1960s, the implants were overshadowed by silicone until the 1992 ban. Saline implants have a rubberized surface and are filled with a saline solution. In general, they are considered safer than silicone because leaking results in fewer health risks as saline is not toxic in the body. That being said, there have been some complaints regarding saline implants. Specifically, the implants can be difficult to manipulate into the correct form, they can wrinkle and can bottom out a situation where they sag at the bottom. While these are concerns you should discuss with your plastic surgeon, what is clear is the saline implants do not involve the risks associated with silicone implants. There is an ongoing debate regarding implants. Since the FDA has banned silicone, it is a debate being won by saline breast implants. Acne Treatment - Why Using A Steam Room May Help Control Acne

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Terrence Banks If youve talked to different people or searched for an effective acne treatment program, you may have found yourself a little frustrated. If so, I can’t say I blame you. There seems to be a treatment program to match every single case of acne. Even though no single cure works for everyone, a steam room can fit into just about any acne treatment regimen. A short list of popular recommendations for acne control and prevention includes:washing your face twice daily with mild soap facial steaming drinking plenty of water reducing stress levels Here are two reasons why a steam room can fit into most acne treatment (and prevention) regimens: 1. Steam bathing opens your pores and helps purge impurities from your skin through sweating 2. Steam baths enhance circulation, bringing oxygen-and-nutrient-rich blood to the surface of your skin If you want to reap the full benefits from a cleansing sweat bath, its important to remember to take a shower immediately when you exit the steam room. Otherwise, some toxins may be reabsorbed into your skin. That would be defeating the purpose, right? If you cant shower right away, dry your skin thoroughly with a clean towel and shower when possible. Use Caution! If you have an extreme acne condition, using a steam room can possibly aggravate the situation. If this concerns you, do some research or schedule a consultation with an expert to find out if it’s ok for you to take steam baths. Steam Room vs. Facial Steaming Facial steaming has proven to be an effective method for acne treatment, but using a full steam room enclosure offers an advantage in my opinion. Why? Steam bathing carries benefits beyond just cleaning your face. Taking a steam bath at least 2 to 3 times a week may help clean out some of the toxins in your body. Because toxins are thought to be a contributor to many skin problems and other health issues, you may enhance your skin appearance indirectly by helping to clean out your system a bit. I’m not suggesting that facial steaming should be eliminated, but adding steam bathing may offer an extra edge for acne control. Please remember this A healthy appearance starts on the inside. If you’re not doing so already, make a strong effort to eat foods rich in vitamins and minerals, drink plenty of water every day, and throw some exercise into the mix.
